RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Oud Aruma, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date you receive your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unopened and unused
  • In its original packaging
  • In the same condition as you received it

Important Note for Perfume Products: Due to health and hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns on opened perfume products. Once a perfume bottle seal is broken or the product has been used, it cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

Eligible for Return:

  • Unopened perfume bottles with intact seals
  • Empty bottles and accessories in original packaging
  • Products damaged during shipping (with photographic evidence)
  • Wrong items sent by error

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Opened or used perfume products
  • Products without original packaging
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us at oudaruma@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Include photos if the product is damaged or defective
  4. Wait for our return authorization email with instructions

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Approved returns: Refund processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refund method: Original payment method
  • Shipping costs: Non-refundable unless we made an error or the product is defective

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • Contact us immediately with photos
  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund
  • Return shipping costs will be covered by us

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product:

  1. Return the original item for a refund
  2. Place a new order for the desired product

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong item
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Oud Aruma is not responsible for items lost in return transit

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after 7 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company (processing may take time)
  3. Contact your bank
  4. If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, contact us at oudaruma@gmail.com
